Gamer was a favorite of Christina’s when he was in the adoption kennel. From his foster dad:
Gamer, is a super sweet little boy. He is still working through his tactile worries about slippery floors, so walking on a few blankets between carpeted areas makes him more comfortable for now. He has figured out small groups of stairs and can go up and down our outside deck stairs better each day. He is hesitant to walk up the big stairs, but we are working with him on that. His personality is gentle, fun and full of sprit and excitement.
He has a youthful exuberance and has the little hop when he wants to play. He loves to follow his doggie roommates – a male greyhound & a female mixed breed – and is not bossy. He is great on walks but so far, has only left “pee-mail” while on the leash. He is a grazer, which means, he is not super “food motivated” like many greyhounds, but prefers to eat a little and drink some water, then walk away and grab some more later on. He is truly a “sight hound” meaning he likes to keep his humans within view at all times. He is a wonderful example of a loving Greyhound and leans in for cuddles. He sleeps through the night “mostly” and is relaxed enough about retirement to roll around on his back and play with toys.
