We’ve had Boomer for three days and boy has he learned a lot already! He went up and down our four outside deck steps on the first day, making sure to touch each step. Next week we’ll tackle the full flight of stairs. Boomer is learning house manners from his dog friends, a lab mix and another male Greyhound and has learned to be a quiet boy when he’s in his crate. He doesn’t chew on anything that he’s not supposed to and has never had an accident in the house. He loves everyone who has come for a visit and to meet him. He likes to be with humans and dogs, however, I do find him in the front room, all by himself. He loves to look at his reflection in the microwave and the oven! He is learning to “stay” and I believe, with a little more practice, he’ll get it 100%. Since it’s been so hot, we haven’t had much practice on the leash but overall, Boomer is a very good boy and is very willing to please.
