Jerry is quite affectionate and loves attention. He has a calm, confident nature with people but can be rambunctious with other dogs, though he responds very well to verbal corrections. He has undergone leash & collar training but still pulls hard when he wants to get to something. He appears to enjoy the thrill of the chase but made no attempt to pick up toys after they stopped moving. He would be best fostered with a female hound.
From his foster mom: A good start to the day. Leah (one of the cats) was eating on the windowsill; Jerry looked at her and kept on walking. Peaches (the other cat) had already finished her breakfast and was sitting under the table. He ignored her, too! He slept through the night in the crate without a peep, and his crate was dry this morning. This is one sweet boy! He’s also doing well with the resident female greyhound & female Saluki.
