DOB – 4/7/17, 68lbs, NOT cat safe, a TriState track favorite with 133 races.
From the adoption kennel coordinator, “Clark is a very playful and curious kiddo. He likes his space but is okay with cuddling on his own terms. He can be a little shy with new people. Clark likes stuffies and squeaky toys. He LOVES food and is very motivated by snacks & treats.”
From his foster mom, “Clark is getting along well with Annie (the resident female greyhound), though she really doesn’t pay him much mind. He’s a little shy in new situations or around lots of noise and likes having his alone time, but comes when he’s called and enjoys one-on-one attention. He’ll put his head between your legs and then keep walking, so if you’re not tall enough to let a male greyhound walk through your legs, you may end up on the ground! Clark is absolutely NOT a fan of the neighbor’s big, black, barky Lab on the other side of the fence!”
Update: Clark is now living in Kent County – Clark…Kent…Get it? – with two greyhound savvy humans and a six year old greyhound sister. He has a big couch inside that he’s welcome to sleep on and a big yard outside to run and play in.
