KB’s Honey Pot, aka Honey
DOB 1/10/19, 65lbs, 103 races at Palm Beach Kennel Club, then TriState
The adoption kennel manager at the track said Honey was an enthusiastic greeter – translation, she likes to jump up and put her front paws on people to say hello – that got along with all the other females in the turnout pen. She’s being fostered as an only dog, but has interacted well with dogs of all sizes that she’s met on walks in the neighborhood and with the school-age children she’s met at the bus stop. Nevertheless, we think she would be most successful in a home with no small children and with adopters who have experience dealing with a high energy female greyhound that likes to be the boss.
We believe she would be happiest sharing her home with another laid back dog. Honey LOVES to run zoomies, so a fenced yard to burn off some excess energy on a daily basis would be ideal.
