Sharkie is settling into retirement with a curious spirit and gentle heart! She’s still learning the ropes—things like stairs, automatic doors, and mirrors are all new and exciting—but she’s making progress every day (and she is quite infatuated with her reflection for good reason). She rides well in the car (with a little boost up!) and enjoys quiet exploration. She’s been great with other greyhounds and shows little interest in small pets, such as cats and chinchillas. She walks nicely on a leash, though she tends to wander towards the road, so she’ll need guidance there. Crating is still a work in progress, but she’s learning fast and is already showing signs of being a loving, loyal companion. Because she’s so young, Sharkie will need at least one other dog in her forever home.
