According to his former trainer, Melvin is the sweetest boy ever. He never caused any trouble in the kennel; as a matter of fact, he was a perfect angel! If he had been ready to retire before she left her trainer job, she would have taken him home. The adoption kennel manager said he’s happy all the time without being “over the top” and gets along with everyone, 2-legged and 4-legged. She would have loved to adopt him but, fortunately for GPAD, she didn’t.
Melvin was a fabulous traveler on the eight hours drive from West Virginia to Delaware. He quickly found a spot to lie down and slept most of the way. He’s currently being fostered with two other male greyhounds and his foster mom calls him ” a very good boy and her fuzzy brindle shadow.”
