Bugsy Brown aka Bugsy, black male, 80lbs, 74 races

DOB 2/28/18

From Bugsy’s fosterers:

Hi, People! I’m Bugsy Brown aka Bugsy from New Zealand. I was a racer, a BFF to my kennel mates, and I’m a huge hit in my first US foster home. Delaware may be a small state but it’s a huge place of discovery for me. I want to see and smell everything on walks – but turns out I’m a good boy and walk nicely on lead already. Who knew? I don’t know if I like First State cats and small dogs so much, but I don’t mind the rabbits and medium to large dogs. I even let myself get smacked in the face by the official test cat at the Rys’ house. I really am a good boy because I just walked away.

I even took a hike along the trail side of the C&D canal with a new friend who walked me and let me show her what a very good boy I am. I wasn’t bothered by spiky monkey balls or stones or any surface on the trail. I didn’t even try to go off trail because we were having so much fun.

I am great in my crate and great out of it. I still am learning house rules but understand some of them just five days in to living here! I love the other three greyhounds in the house and we all play nicely (a bit grouchy Levi is who he is). I understand routines faster than I raced – which was F A S T. Why should I learn them here when I could learn the rules and routines in my forever home? Oh, did I mention that I learned to go up a flight of stairs on my own with only two assists beforehand?!!! Going down is a breeze and so far I remember to touch’em all. I love car rides and playing ball.

I am friendly, cuddly, calm, playful, and a perfect choice for your first greyhound or for your next greyhound. Adopt me now (love car rides, playing ball, and fleece squeaker bones) before you miss the chance to have me as your sweet boi companion.
