DOB – 6/14/19, 60lbs, 3 races.
From Tracy Wildey, her breeder in Abilene, KS, “Claire (who works on the farm) carried her like a baby all the time. She is a spoiled mess!”
From the adoption kennel manager, “Angel is one of the loviest greyhounds with an innocent look in her eyes. She just wants to hug and cannot wait to cuddle people. She LOVES marshmallows!”
From her foster mom, “Angel is a very affectionate and cuddly love bug. She crates nicely, has already learned to go to the door and look expectantly when she wants to go out, and she completely ignores the two cats in the house. She sleeps through the night without a peep and she gets along wonderfully with Mindy & Geoffrey (the resident greyhounds). She is beginning to claim her right to be very playful as a two year old. She has discovered squeaky toys and will throw them up in the air and then bring them to her bed or crate. She has also discovered how much fun it is to grab the end of a toilet paper roll and run out into the hall or as far as she can get before we discover her “trick”. No counter surfing for this girl though and she seems to be fine in thunderstorms. A real sweetheart!”
Update: Angel was adopted by previous GPAD adopters who lost one of their girls in 2020. She’s living in New Castle County, DE with two humans, a greyhound “sister,” a dachshund “brother” and a nice fenced yard to play in!
