Personality in the Racing 2 Rehome Kennel:
Seems sweet, very friendly, outgoing, confident, personable, affectionate. Good on lead. Likes zoomies, enthusiastic, extroverted. When tested with smaller dogs on a short leash, Saltbush was keen on approach with an intense greet as if she was curious of the smaller dogs, but she was easily distracted.
January Foster Home evaluation:
Saltbush was left alone sometimes but always in the company of our other Greyhound without issue. No problem with being left on the days we went to work. No issues leash walking, is fine with traffic, looks at other dogs on walks but doesn’t pull, had a few interactions with other dogs which went well. Loves people! She will gather items, shoes, clothes etc, but otherwise a dream to have around. Only one toileting accident early on and then she would let us know if she needed to go out. Both dogs slept downstairs on their own beds and slept well through the night. Great on lead and not very interested in other dogs when out. Played well with our greyhound and was good at taking his cues. Travels well but needs to be lifted into the car. No resource guarding issues, loves pats and tummy rubs, loves water, very social and also very gentle meeting an elderly relative. She is smart and will thrive with human company and affection. She would do well in a home with other dogs but could also be a solo dog if her adopters are home at least half time.
